Seven Ways Parents Can Help

Our Adult Volunteers work very hard and give a lot of their time to deliver the Girl Scout program to girls in our area! Remember them April 22nd, Leader Appreciation Day. Wondering what you can do? Here are seven ways parents can help.

  1. Respect their dedication and role as informal teachers
  2. Volunteer in your girl”s troop
      Positions needed include:

    • Troop Cookie Manager
    • Calendar Sales Chair
    • Troop Annual Fund Chair
  3. Observe Leader Appreciation Day (April 22nd) and do something special for your troop leaders
  4. Ask them what you can do to help them out
  5. Let them know if you have a change of plans that affect troop activities
  6. Donate any amount to the Annual Fund
  7. Nominate your leader for an award
